Ransom Canyon: where love, loss, and loyalty collide.🏜️
Ransom Canyon April 17th @netflix 🤠♥️
My early Christmas gift to myself: I visited three countries—Spain, Portugal, and France—specifically Madrid, Lisbon, and Paris. This trip turned into what usually happens: me daydreaming about moving to another country. And this trip did not disappoint! Here are a few highlights, not in any particular order, that were truly the highlight of my year. 1. Selfie in the bathroom in Madrid. 🤷🏽♀️ 2. Don’t you all hire real estate agents and tour apartments when you travel? 3. I watched my friend’s kid play the piano and asked for the instructor’s contact because, why not? What if I move there? 4. Potatoes, cauliflower, jumbo prawns, stew, and curry sauce. 5. My favorite restaurant in Lisbon. 6. Hello, Kristof coffee shop—chef’s kiss! 7. The Folks Sé: pistachio latte. 8 & 9 At Dreamin’ Man Coffee Shop. I have a soft spot for people who still read the newspaper. This coffee shop has one of the BEST pour-overs I’ve ever had. The owner worked at Fuglen Tokyo and all of the barista’s are the best. 10 & 11 Friends hosted Christmas dinners, and everyone helped the chef, Geoffroy Langella from Bistrot Des Tournelles, one of the best and kindest chefs in Paris. 12. Dessert: mousse with cheese and ice cream. 13 & 14. Klover Coffee has the sweetest barista named Lee; please tell him the annoying picture-taking American named Khatira sent you. 15. I had an official dinner at Bistrot Des Tournelles, where I learned about the epic dessert, Baba au Rhum. 16. Things that never get old: Eiffel Tower. 17. Just two best friends sitting on a bridge, the Pont des Arts Bridge. 18. To end this journey, it wouldn’t be a local experience where I daydream about living somewhere if I didn’t take the metro. To be continued, if I somehow convince my family to go on an adventure and move!
