Presenting the March-April print issue of AD: Golden Hour with Mira Kapoor (@mira.kapoor) Coffee table books from her father’s collection, tabletop pieces picked up over travels in Europe, an obsession with sculptural lights, a growing appetite for art, the gift of golden natural light, fresh flowers and food on the table, always—the Mumbai home of Mira Kapoor (@mira.kapoor) and Shahid Kapoor (@shahidkapoor) is all about wholesome family fun, with design at its heart. At approximately 10,000sq ft., it’s a four-bedroom duplex, with spaces for life, for work, for entertainment and for play, all interwoven. For the extensive space planning and interiors, the couple turned to Annkur Khosla (@annkurkhosla), who Shahid had worked with previously. For Mira, who has been collecting art, it was another key decision. Relying on the help of consultant Maya Puri (@art_indiancontemporary), her collection includes a Radhakrishnan sculpture—the first piece of art she ever bought herself—in the entrance lobby; a colour-changing work by Yuvaan Bothysathuvar in the dining room; and a commissioned work by Subodh Kerkar (@subodhkerkar) that Shahid couldn’t resist. And on her wish list are works by Subodh Gupta (@subodhguptastudio), Senaka Senanayake (@senaka_senanayake) and Diana Al-Hadid. Our March-April issue also includes #AmbikaHindujaMacker’s slick penthouse in Dubai, Raw Mango’s (@raw_mango) new outpost in Gurugram, RBANM’s High School in Bengaluru recently restored by Nisha Mathew Ghosh (@nishamathewghosh) and Soumitro Ghosh (@soumitro_ghosh_architect), AD100 designer Shonan Purie Trehan’s (@labwerk) home away from home in Florence and more.
