2 years of ‘Fallin Apart’. It arrived to me during a difficult time when I was caring for my mom after two heart attacks. I had taken a break from acting, unsure of what the future held, and this song became a gift. The project was a milestone for me—it was the first time I featured in a music video where the female lead had more screen time than the singer. I’m grateful to Karan Aujla for trusting me with the role and to director Qarn for giving me creative freedom. The collaboration allowed me to express myself as both a dancer and an actor. I later learned that “Fallin’ Apart” was Karan’s favorite song, and it meant so much that he trusted me to bring it to life. The song marked the beginning of a deeper collaboration with Karan, following the success of “Kya Baat Hai.” Qarn and I hadn’t worked together before, but his openness to ideas was key to making this video extraordinary. What started as a simple one-take, single-location video transformed into something much grander, especially with the bold choice to make it black and white. Karan’s success is well-deserved, and working with him has been a rewarding experience. His ability to lift others as he rises is inspiring. I’m also deeply grateful for the support of Deep, Sandeep, Muskaan, Kamal, and everyone involved in the project. My dad’s comment about winning an Oscar for a song and my mom’s love for the video made the experience even more meaningful. Ultimately, life isn’t about success or numbers; it’s about moments shared with loved ones and the memories that last. This is my story, and I’m forever thankful for it.
