Sandra Lee Instagram – WHAT A NIGHT!! @projectangelfood ANGEL ART FUNDRAISING event is one of the highlights of the Los Angeles year. I met up with my beautiful friend Jill and her wonderful daughter Torie , an artist who donated A piece for auction-thank you, Miss Torie-you most gorgeous newlywed.
I’ve been attending this event since 2004 where I bought my first piece of art. This years #AngelArt was lucky to host artist @grantalexandra (Keanu Reeves girlfriend) as their chair and several of her Premier pieces-so generous and sweet, I was thrilled to get to meet her. You can see her beautiful art in the starburst “love” piece. I am sharing just a few other works that I love. Angel Art is also one of the best places to run into other philanthropic like-minded dear friends including @melissariversofficial-who’s getting married and just a couple Weeks, Mark McBride-who Worked with me years ago and still a dear friend, AND of course, the amazing @richardayoub Who is the head of Project Angel Food and who worked tirelessly to feed so many people who are homebound due to extreme illnesses, unable to feed themselves. Then the cherry on the “art night cake” was seeing the incredibly talented @dianewarren who lost her house in Malibu, but did NOT lose her animal rescue farm, which I KNOW everyone is grateful for-good luck Diane on your Oscar nomination this weekend. We all love you.
What a lovely first night back in Los Angeles. Hope you have a great great weekend. I’ll be sending photos from Elton John’s party on Sunday where @chappellroan is performing, and my nephew @itsbrycelee is over the moon to be my date!
Wait till you see what I wear, my dress is a work of art that I made myself, just like the Versailles gown, fun amazing and a little bit stressful to get done From a hotel room.
