Templon unveils Oil of Angels, a deeply evocative solo exhibition by Oda Jaune, delving into the transcendental power of unconditional love.
Inspired by Maya Angelou’s Touched by an Angel, Jaune reimagines angels not as celestial figures but as manifestations of the love and goodness within us. Across twenty oil paintings, she blends surrealism and raw emotion, unveiling intimate visions of maternal love, vulnerability, and human connection. The centerpiece—a five-meter-long canvas—portrays a hybrid maternal form, a powerful homage to the strength and fragility of love, where tenderness and resilience merge into a single, hauntingly beautiful composition.
