I believe MLK said it perfectly in an excerpt from “The Other America:” __________________________ “But it is not enough for me to stand before you tonight and condemn riots. It would be morally irresponsible for me to do that without, at the same time, condemning the contingent, intolerable conditions that exist in our society. These conditions are the things that cause individuals to feel that they have no other alternative than to engage in violent rebellions to get attention. And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard.” – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. __________________________ Having stated that, I also hope people have seen the less popular footage circulating from this weekend of peaceful protestors—SO MANY PEACEFULLY PROTESTING—being brutalized for no reason. Hopefully people have also seen footage of violent acts being committed by certain outliers not concerned or affiliated with the real cause who are seeking to control the narrative. And then there’s this footage. I don’t know any details other than the prevailing one on display here. The absolute clarity of the disparity. Wow. #blacklivesmatter
