Dr Hazel Nell “Ma” Dukes, native Alabaman, civil rights leader, former national @naacp president, board of directors and executive committee member and former New York State Conference president, National Council of Negro Women, Inc. and National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, INC. member, church woman, beloved New Yorker and civil rights legend has passed into ancestordom. So many friends are sharing stories of how she helped and cared for them.
