Actor Joe Biden HD Photos and Wallpapers February 2024 Share This Post FacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsAppReddItTelegram Earlier this year, I boarded Air Force One for a secret flight to Poland. There, I boarded a train with blacked-out windows for a 10-hour ride each way to Kyiv to stand with the people of Ukraine ahead of the one-year anniversary of their brave fight against Putin. I was the first American president to enter a warzone not controlled by the United States military since President Lincoln. When I exited that train and met President Zelenskyy, I didn’t feel alone. I was bringing with me the idea of America, the promise of America to the people who are today fighting for the same things we fought for 250 years ago: freedom, independence, and self-determination. As I walked through Kyiv with President Zelenskyy, with air raid sirens sounding in the distance, I felt something I’ve always believed more strongly than ever before: America is a beacon to the world still. As I walked through Kyiv with President Zelenskyy, with air raid sirens sounding in the distance, I felt something I’ve always believed more strongly than ever before: America is a beacon to the world still. I refuse to let that happen. The United States stands with Israel in the aftermath of the acts of sheer evil perpetrated by Hamas. Wishing Vice President @KamalaHarris a very happy birthday. She’s bright and tough and has done a remarkable job leading on critical fights like protecting women’s freedoms and combating gun violence—and I’m so proud to have her by my side. I’m traveling to Israel tomorrow to stand in solidarity in the face of Hamas’s brutal terrorist attack and to consult on next steps. I’ll then travel to Jordan to meet with leaders and address dire humanitarian needs—and make clear that Hamas does not stand for Palestinians’ right to self-determination. We’re the most powerful nation in the history of the world. We can take care of Israel and Ukraine and still maintain our overall international defense. We’re growing the economy from the middle out and bottom up, not the top down. I came to Israel with a single message: You are not alone. In May, we released the first-ever national strategy to counter antisemitism. It’s the most ambitious, comprehensive effort to combat antisemitism in all of American history. We’re aggressively implementing it, but we must all do our part and forcefully speak out against antisemitism. There is no place for hate in America. We cannot—and will not—let terrorists like Hamas and tyrants like Putin win. I refuse to let that happen. Silence is complicity, and I refuse to be silent. To all of you hurting, I want you to know: I see you. You belong. We have to reject hate in every form. History has taught us again and again, antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia—they’re all connected. Hate toward one group left unanswered opens the door for more hate towards more groups. That’s why the laws that actually protect equality matter to every single American, no matter who you are, who you love, or where you come from. We must, without equivocation, denounce antisemitism and Islamophobia. I know these conflicts can seem far away. And it’s natural to ask: Why does this matter to America? Let me share why making sure Israel and Ukraine succeed is vital for America’s national security. To put all of that at risk if we walk away from Ukraine and turn our backs on Israel—it’s just not worth it. We’re investing in America. This week, I announced one of the largest advanced manufacturing investments in the history of this nation—$7 billion in federal investments, which is going to attract $40 billion in private investment in clean hydrogen power. From day one, I vowed to strengthen Medicare for the millions of Americans that have paid into this program from their very first paycheck. During Medicare open enrollment, seniors and their families will be able to see the progress we’ve made in lowering health care costs. I sent Congress an urgent budget request to fund America’s national security needs to support our critical partners, including Israel and Ukraine. It’s a smart investment that’s going to pay dividends for American security for generations. In moments like these—when fears, suspicion, anger, and rage run high—we have to work harder than ever to hold on to the values that make us who we are. Bidenomics is investing in a future that’s made in America. This morning’s CPI report shows core inflation fell to its lowest level in two years. Overall inflation is down by 60% from its peak at a time when unemployment has remained below 4% for 20 months in a row. That’s Bidenomics in action.
