Nicola Coughlan Instagram – Repost• @medicalaidpal 🚨 An invasion of Rafah must not be allowed to go ahead.
Israel has forced more than one million Palestinians in Gaza to flee to Rafah, a small city in the south, claiming it to be a ‘safe zone’.
For months, the Israeli military has been bombing Palestinians there. Now, they are planning a ground invasion.
🔴 Take action to protect Palestinians in Rafah 👉

Nicola Coughlan Instagram – RP @chooselove The horror, loss, and despair we are witnessing in Gaza is beyond our comprehension.
Nowhere, and no one is safe.
Our incredible partner Medical Aid for Palestinians @medicalaidpal (MAP) and IRC’s joint Emergency Medical Team (EMT), along with Doctors Without Borders and other NGO medical teams have been forced to withdraw from the Al Aqsa hospital, the only functioning hospital in middle Gaza, due to relentless bombardment in the immediate vicinity.
“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭. 𝘞𝘦’𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘥𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨”, said one MAP EMT doctor.
It is unthinkable that in 2024 the thousands of injured and dying, half of whom are children, have nowhere safe to go.
Many of the hospital staff have been killed, injured, or forced to evacuate from the area.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has just reported that shockingly only 5 doctors remain at Al Aqsa hospital to treat the hundreds of casualties, mainly children, with no anaesthesia, on blood-soaked floors, surrounded by chaos and panic of the wounded and their families.
More than 300 healthcare workers have been killed since Oct 7th, 2023. That’s more than the total number killed across all countries in conflict in any year since 2016. Hospitals and medical staff have protected status under international law.
Hospitals are not a target.
Medics are not a target.
Civilians are not a target.
Children are not a target.
We stand with the humanitarian community demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

Made a movie with some legends – in cinemas 5th April 👑

Nicola Coughlan Instagram – Make this suffering end, it is within the power of the US and UK governments to call for a ceasefire and yet they won’t. 3 Israeli hostages shot and killed yesterday, why must innocent people continue to be murdered, and children like we see here starved before the people in power step up and do something? Please write to your representatives and implore them to call for a #ceasefirenow
Link in my stories or email your representatives in the 🇺🇸 and mps in 🇬🇧, both take under a minute
Nicola Coughlan Instagram – What a deep, deep failure of humanity we are witnessing. On Friday the US vetoed a United Nations resolution calling for a ceasefire, the vote in the 15-member council was 13-1 with the UK abstaining.
This is beyond shameful @joebiden @rishisunakmp @keirstarmer- how many more innocent people need to die, how many more pictures of murdered children do we need to be exposed to before you do something?
17000 dead, 7000 children #ceasefirenow
Posted @withregram • @middleeasteye “Where can I get another brother like you, my dear?”
Saaed Khalid Shehta, a Palestinian boy from Gaza, mourned his younger brother Mohammed who was killed by an Israeli air strike in Gaza City on Saturday.
A health worker at the al-Ahli hospital, where survivors gathered after air strikes hit nearby neighbourhoods on Saturday morning, said the bombardment had killed at least 15 children under the age of 10.
