Happy New Year!!!!! ( taken somewhere lovely that I can’t pronounce or spell in Denmark:) ❤️❤️
London Love
On our way!!!!
A word about the Oscars on Sunday night. As a Best Supporting Actress Winner, I was asked to speak about my friend, Emily Blunt and her fierce and heartbreaking work in Oppenheimer. From the stage I could see Emily, shining in this moment and John, fighting back tears in his pride of her and Ted, a few feet away, beaming at me. I felt the feeling that I often do on our sets. How in the world did I end up here? It still all fills me with wonder and gratitude. So that’s what was going on in the inside. As far as what was going on on the outside…
I loved this sleek @tomford dress that my brilliant stylist @itsamandalim found. Shoes @ralphlauren, bag @judithleiberny, earrings @ireneneuwirth, bracelet @cathywaterman, green string bracelets by my three granddaughters.
Dreamiest glam team: @davestanwell, @lorencanbymakeup, @miadonderomakeup. Styling assistants @_shmian, @robwolfflund. Alterations @martinzepedadesigns.
Thank you’s: Annett Wolf (goddess), Lauren Appel, Allie Jenkins, Olivia Gafford, Emma Kreisberg, and Jessica Mallari; Eric Kranzler for letting me get dressed in your stunning house. It always feels like Sinatra could walk in at any moment; and Jonah Koppelman.
A special thank you to Molly McNearney, who knew of my friendship with Emily Blunt, and had the much appreciated idea of including me in honoring her.
Thank you @badgleymischka, I loved wearing that dreamy pleated dress to the Vanity Fair party. The stunning orange necklace, bracelet, and earrings by @ireneneuwirth, my gold bracelet by @cathywaterman, green string bracelets by my granddaughters. Vegan coat @rachelantonoff.
And in the privacy of our bedroom, as we were getting out of our Vanity Fair looks sometime after midnight, thank you @teddanson for singing and dancing to the song “I’M JUST TED”. In an evening full of highlights, this one topped them all!

Lots of people will take shots of the eclipse but only one of them is photographer, Nancy Steenburgen, my talented beloved sister. In Arkansas. Right in the path of totality!!!!
Happy Birthday @janegoodallinst!! Thank you for being a never disappointing hero since I was ten years old and read about you in National Geographic. You are a wonder and we are all blessed to share this world with you. #rootsandshoots
Thinking of you three today! ❤️❤️❤️
Copenhagen is a wonderland at Christmas!!! Just to make it even more special, there was a knock at the door where we are staying and it was the very nice chimney sweep that the government sends round to make sure everyone’s chimneys are clean. And presumably, ready for Santa❤️
This was the first time to the Grammys for both of us. I made one promise to myself that I wouldn’t let all the magic of the music get spoiled for me by wearing torturous shoes (Go Barbie!). So, I wore my beautiful Chanel boots the first night, and my Stuart Weitzman rain boots to Clive Davis’s party and to Grammy night. When we stepped out of the Crypto Arena into the MASSIVE DOWNPOUR, I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face at how warm, dry, and comfortable my feet were. Here are a few shots of our weekend.
Seeing @jinglejohnosborne and @luciesilvas, @tjosborne and @abiezervh, was a big dose of family on a magical night. As were the surprise hugs from my soul son, @alexanderdavidisrael.
Thank you glam teams @lorencanbymakeup, @claytonhawkins, @fionastiles, @josephchase, @itsamandalim, @_shmian, @albrightfashionlibrary.
Thank you especially Harvey Mason Jr. for inviting us, and for you and Brit being two of my most cherished friends. ..
